HMC Roofing & Contracting

Terms and Conditions

Welcome to HMC Roofing & Contracting. These Terms and Conditions govern your engagement with our company and your use of our digital platforms. By accessing this website, requesting a project estimate, or hiring our crew for property upgrades, you establish a binding legal agreement to comply fully with the stipulations detailed below. If you do not accept these provisions, you should refrain from using our site or scheduling our exterior services.

1. Corporate Identity

All structural contracting and maintenance solutions are owned and executed by HMC Roofing & Contracting. You can reach our administrative team directly by calling (289) 928-1780.

2. Agreement Binding

Engaging our services—including roof repairs, complete replacements, siding updates, or gutter installations—signifies that you acknowledge and accept these terms. This contract applies to all service delivery throughout our active communities, including the Durham Region, Kawartha Lakes, and Cottage Country.

3. Service Provisioning

HMC Roofing & Contracting delivers professional external construction services, specializing in residential and commercial roof restorations, structural installations, rapid emergency storm mitigation, vinyl siding applications, and seamless water drainage systems. Our ability to take on projects depends on seasonal availability, material access, and safe site environments.

4. Project Timelines & Weather Adjustments

Our crews operate from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Sunday, to deliver highly coordinated, on-time project completion. However, because external structural trades depend entirely on safe environmental conditions, we reserve the right to alter production schedules due to severe weather transitions. In instances of heavy rain, high winds, or freezing winter conditions, work will be paused or rescheduled to maintain the safety of our trade-tested crews and preserve the structural integrity of your home's exposed envelope.

5. Upfront Pricing & Financial Policies

All formal project quotes are derived from physical diagnostic evaluations and remain valid for a period of 30 days. We maintain a strict flat-rate estimate policy designed to stick to your budget and protect you from hidden fees. Final balances are due immediately upon the successful completion of all contracted structural items and our rigorous site cleanup. If hidden structural issues—such as rotted wood decking or sagging joists—are uncovered after stripping old materials away, a mandatory written change order will be documented and signed by both parties before additional structural work resumes.

6. Property Rules & Homeowner Duties

The property owner must guarantee safe, clear access to the designated work zone, driveways, and exterior electrical outlets throughout our scheduled operational hours. Homeowners are solely responsible for accurately identifying and declaring property lines prior to material staging. HMC Roofing & Contracting is not liable for structural failures or pre-existing decay hidden beneath old material layers that are revealed during the tear-off process.

7. Structural Material Alignment Results

We employ premium architectural elements and meticulous trade-tested color matching on every jobsite. However, because older exterior materials undergo severe weather degradation over time, we cannot guarantee an exact color or texture match when integrating new components with weathered, aged, or discontinued surfaces.

8. Warranty Scope & Disclaimers

Our services and digital content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. HMC Roofing & Contracting explicitly disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The exclusive protection provided for your project consists solely of the specific workmanship and structural guarantees explicitly detailed inside your signed physical service contract.

9. Limitation of Corporate Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by provincial law, HMC Roofing & Contracting, its suppliers, and its crew members shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages impacting your property or digital assets. Our total financial liability for any structural claim or project dispute is strictly capped at the exact dollar amount paid to our company for that specific service contract.

10. Authorized Website Usage

When utilizing our digital platform, you agree to interact safely and lawfully. You are prohibited from attempting to breach our digital systems, distributing or copying our custom content without written permission, or submitting fraudulent information through our quote request tools.

11. Intellectual Property Protection

All materials published on this website—including company logos, text layouts, structural graphics, photography, and brand copy—are the exclusive property of HMC Roofing & Contracting and are protected under Canadian copyright regulations.

12. External Web Connections

Our online resources may occasionally link to third-party web platforms for homeowner convenience or material reference. We do not monitor, endorse, or accept any responsibility for the privacy protocols, terms, or operational practices of those independent external websites.

13. Service Cancellation & Refusals

We maintain the absolute right to halt, cancel, or refuse service to any individual or project site at our sole discretion. This operational policy is strictly enforced in situations involving unsafe jobsite environments, hostile behavior, unresolved property boundary disputes, or scheduling and payment non-compliance.

14. Data Privacy

All personal communication details, addresses, and project histories gathered through our online forms are managed in strict accordance with our corporate Privacy Policy to ensure your information remains secure.

15. Policy Updates

HMC Roofing & Contracting reserves the right to modify, adjust, or completely rewrite these Terms and Conditions at any moment without prior notification. Your continued choice to navigate our website or contract our crew after changes are posted represents your full agreement to the updated terms.

16. Governing Legal Framework

These Terms and Conditions are governed by, built around, and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
